Qualifications:
High School Diploma. Four (4) year degree from an accredited college or university, in Human Service related field preferred.
Minimum of 2 years working with adults with a variety of disabilities preferred
Supported Employment services preferred
A valid NC drivers license, insurance & reliable car required.
Availability to work a flexible schedule including nights and weekends.
Ability to stand for long periods of time
Knowledge of general office equipment, computer and industry specific equipment as needed for training individuals supported.
Ability to lift up to a maximum of 55 pounds in order to assist individuals being supported to complete work assignments from employers and/or assist with personal care of the individuals being supported.
Ability to speak Spanish and/or sign language a plus.
Position Responsibilities:
The team member will work under the direct supervision of the CRT team lead and QP
Communication, organizational, leadership and computer skills a must with the ability to provide systemic training and support.
Maintain good work habits regarding attendance, punctuality, appearance and effective working relationships with individuals being supported, co-workers, VR staff and employers
Maintain case records as required by licensing and funding bodies standards and regulations
Accompany individuals being supported to their community-based employment site to provide on-the-job training.
Facilitate positive interaction with coworkers and employers providing reinforcement as learning is demonstrated
